Job Specification • Diploma/BE Mechanical Engineering
• Extensive experience in machine design & in selection of engineering Bought out, min 3-4 years in printing/packaging industry
• Fundamental engineering concepts (Strength of Material/Machine Design etc.) should be clear.
• Creating high quality detailed drawings, and thorough knowledge of GD&T and materials.
• Excellent communication skills (Oral and Written English).
• Analytical, Innovative, Hardworking, capable of translating concepts to realization
Job Description • Developing and Designing Printing and Packaging Machine Drawings and Assemblies
• Improving existing design of machines and accessories
• Checking of detailed drawings & design and their documentation
• Preparing BOM and detailed costing sheet for complete machine/assemblies/subassemblies
• Visiting vendors & manufacturers site for checking parts are manufactured as per drawings
• Ensuring that designed products are providing desired function
• Creating new part codes, uploading BOM, Monitoring BOM and inventory masters in ERP (SAP preferred)
• Working with cross functional teams to complete projects/job orders on time.
